SOUND M.I.N.D.
Bio//
Sound M.i.n.d. is a hybrid child of electronic music and live solo guitar performance. The boundary between analog and digital sounds becomes fuzzy when guitar and computer merge to become a raw yet soothing synthesized sound machine. Sound M.i.n.d.'s soundscape is unique, drawing on ambient, electronica, blues, funk and world beats. Sound M.i.n.d. is the creation of Steve Krentzman, an educational technologist, guitarist for over 35 years and Neurofeedback clinician. Using the acronym M.i.n.d. as an abbreviation for “music induced neurotransmitter dopamine” indicates the influence that music has on the neurotransmitter dopamine, the brain’s “feel good” chemical. Mr. Krentzman feels we are fortunate to be living in this technology-driven time, where- with the right algorithm, all things are possible.Mr. Krentzman's Instrumental tracks have been used in many TV shows like the Steve Harvey Show and for various cable networks including Food Network, Travel Channel, HGTV, TV LAND, Discovery, PBS, MTV, CMTV, and various TV programmes in the UK.
